SEO Factory AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the SEO Factory AI WordPress plugin and the website seofactoryai.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We collect the following information when you use SEO Factory AI:

Email address — used to identify your account, send OTP verification codes, and manage your subscription.
Usage data — we log actions such as keyword generations and post generations, along with credit usage, to manage your account balance.
Payment information — payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details. We receive your email and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy via webhook.
Content you generate — the context, keywords, and prompts you submit are sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not permanently store the content of your generated posts on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To verify your identity via OTP email
To track and deduct credits based on usage
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send transactional emails (OTP codes, receipts)
To improve the service and monitor for abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate SEO Factory AI:

OpenAI — your prompts and context are sent to OpenAI’s API to generate content. OpenAI’s privacy policy applies: openai.com/privacy
Lemon Squeezy — handles all payments and subscriptions. Their privacy policy applies: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy
Resend — used to send transactional emails including OTP verification codes.
Railway — our backend infrastructure provider where your account data is stored.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data (email, credits, plan, usage logs) is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@seofactoryai.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you
The right to correct inaccurate data
The right to request deletion of your data
The right to object to or restrict processing of your data
